SKADUB & REGGAE band. Lead by trumpetist SHIO-40 (Rude Bones and V&40) and supported by drummer RYO (V&40 and Bug’s Feed)

PHugo and TAKUJI. During HOME GROWN TOUR they backed RYO The SKYWALKER. Peace message, Reggae and Dub Sound.

Accordion, Sax, Guitars, Percussion and Rumba Box are the used instruments of this band. 50s-`60s Mento,‘60s

Cumbia and a big influence of‘50s USA and Bermudas music are the formula of this delicate Caribbean  Sound.

As a big difference between San Fernando Mento Patrol and others mento bands,the band does not use any banjo.

Lead by Satoru Fujii (Head Case), Matsuoka (Club Ska-Head Case), Kazuhiro Sudo (The Zoot 16), amemiya ksk, Saudi, Ichi-Low and

Fulja, are all big names in the Japanese reggae DJ scene. This Selecta unit has been on the leading edge of the Japan Rebel Music

Scene since the 80's. This has earned them respect in the DJ music scene.  Ska, Reggae, Calypso, Rock Steady, Soca, Stepper, Dub,

Dance Hall, Jungle and Latin Rock. In 2005, they took part in Banda Bassotti's tour "Street Beat Festival" in Italy, and have toured

with The Slackers, and Bombshell Rocks, throughout Europe. In Japan, they have performed with The Ska Flames, Tokyo No 1 Soul Set,

Brahman and other top acts. Including works with overseas artists such as The Beat, Rico Rodriguez, Laurel Aitken, Fermin Muguruza,

Banda Bassotti, King Prawn,etc. They plan to do more aggressive performances in the near future.In Tokyo you can see them at Unit,

The Room, Club Wire, etc.
